WG CDR SHAHUL HAMEED

PRINCIPAL

         Wg Cdr Shahul Hameed was commissioned in the Education Branch of the Indian Air Force on 18 June 2005. The officer had completed his training at the Air Force Academy at Hyderabad and was awarded the prestigious President's Plaque for standing first in overall merit in the ground duty branches. He hails from Kerala and has done his Masters in English Literature from Annamalai University.

         In his service career spanning more than one and a half decade, the officer has held numerous instructional and staff appointments at various Air Force establishments and institutions such as Senior Education Officer at Eastern Air Command Headquarters (Unit), Senior Education Officer at the Premier Air Force Station at Yelahanka, Squadron Commander at Airmen Training School Belagavi, Staff appointments at the Western Air Command and Air Headquarters to name a few. The Officer has also served at the Embassy of India, Dushanbe at Tajikistan as part of the Indian Military Training (Army) for two years. Prior to assuming the charge as Principal Sainik School Chhingchhip, the officer was posted at the Directorate of Training at Air Headquarters.

         The officer has attended various professional courses during his service career. He has also attended the reputed Diploma in Educational Planning and Administration course at the National University of Educational Planning and Administration under the Ministry of Human Resource Development at New Delhi.

         The officer is a keen sportsman and loves the company of books in his leisure time. He is married to Mrs Seena Shahul, and the couple is blessed with two daughters.
