Sqn Ldr Pankaj Rawat joined as Administrative Officer w.e.f 28 May 2018. He was commissioned in the Education Branch of Indian Air Force on 29 Dec 11. The Officer hails from Dehradun (Uttarakhand) and has done his Master’s in Business Administration from Institute of Management Studies, Dehradun.
Prior to this present appointment the Officer has held various prestigious appointments at premier Air Force Bases. He has handled various specialized tasks during his postings which include Education, Human Resource Management and Security. He has also been an instructor in one of the premier training establishment of IAF.
The Officer has undergone various service courses which include Security, Intellgence and Basic Cyber Crime Course at reputed Air Force training establishment. He has done Basic Air Staff Course and Basic Professional Knowledge Course at Air Force Administrative College, Coimbatore. He has also undergone the Train the Trainers course with British Council of India.
Sqn Ldr Pankaj Rawat was commended by the Air Officer Commanding in Chief, Training Command Bangalore on 08 October 2016 for his dedication to duty while performing duties as an instructor in a premier training institute of IAF.
He is married to Mrs Deepika Rawat who is an educationist with rich experience of teaching in various convent schools at Dehradun and they are blessed with a son Ranvijay who is studying in LKG.
