ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

   Major Kalyan S assumed the appointment of Administrative Officer, Sainik School Chhingchhip with effect from 27 Sep 2021. The officer was commissioned in the year 2013 in the Army Service Corps of Indian Army.

   Prior to the present appointment, the officer has held various important prestigious and regimental appointments in the fields of HR, Security and Logistics in highly active field areas of Assam (CI Ops), Kargil and Arunachal Pradesh (High Altitude Area). The officer was also part of Op-Snow Leopard (Indo-China Conflict) while posted in Tawang Sector.   The officer has completed various courses i.e., YOs, Transport Management Course and Junior Command Course with an instr grading in his YOs course. The officer did his graduation in Business Administration from PSG College of Arts and Science.

  The officer hails from Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) and is an avid trekker and likes playing volleyball. He is married to Mrs R Revathi and is blessed with a son named Master Pranith Dev.
